NEW AGE OF INNOCENCE
WINTER 2025
The novel, ’Age of innocence’, focused on society’s stubborn insistence on a blinding and damaging pretension of innocence and an avoidance of scandal at all costs, yet in todays age, scandal is what feeds us. Our innocence, exposed to the world through a social facade, a generation being raised through a screen has shown power through colour, sartorial expression, voices of change, and most of all, the desire to make dreams a reality using the very platforms created to numb us.
This editorial explores how innocence is redefined in the modern era, where it’s laid bare for the world to see through curated social facades. In a generation raised by screens, the line between public persona and private truth has blurred, and innocence, now exposed and reimagined, takes on new power in a landscape where visibility is everything.
